North Park High School and MDCPS Will Be Closed Due to Storm
North Park High School & M-DCPS Closing Schools, Facilities on Wednesday, September 28 and Thursday 29, 2022 due to Hurricane Ian Miami-Dade County Public Schools works directly with the National Hurricane Center and Miami-Dade Office of Emergency Management to monitor hurricane activity. In an abundance of caution, Schools Superintendent Dr. Jose L. Dotres announced today that all Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS), as well as Region and District offices, will be closed tomorrow Wednesday, September 28 and Thursday, September 29, 2022. Tropical storm and perhaps hurricane force winds produced by Ian are possible in portions of Miami-Dade County. A decision about the status of schools for Friday, September 30, 2022, has not been made at this point. We will continue to provide updates.
